Master in special education
Suited for teachers working with pupils with special education needs
The Master of Arts in Inclusive and Special Education is suited for teachers working with pupils with special and additional learning needs in diverse educational settings.
This MA/PG Dip (Arts) in Inclusive and Special Education is a part-time, online programme, which will empower early years, primary, post-primary and special education teachers with the knowledge, skills, values, and competencies to provide an inclusive and quality education for all. It will be of particular interest to special education teachers and those who may wish to take on coordinating or leadership roles in a range of educational contexts relevant to inclusion and special education.
Post-primary education – Professional Master of Education
A Masters in Post Primary Education – Professional Master of Education is perfect for you if you want to be a part of the growth and development of teenagers aged 12-18.
As a secondary school teacher, or post primary teacher, you will specialise in two subjects and you will teach these to students from the first year to the sixth year. It is your enthusiasm and focus on your subjects that will motivate and foster a love of the subject material by students, thereby ensuring that they bring as much learning as possible with them in their future endeavours. As an unknown author once said “Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions.”
Masters in primary education
The Masters in Primary Education – Professional Master of Education in Primary Education is perfect for you if you want to work with children aged 4-12.
Working with younger children is for those passionate people, who understand that teaching can be challenging but also extremely rewarding. Teachers in Primary Education are not only part of the intellectual development of young children, but also play a key role in moral and social development.
As George Lucas once said “Education is the single most important job of the human race”
Our Teaching course, Masters in Primary Education, was established to encourage a broader range of people to become teachers, and we provide a more flexible route to becoming a fully qualified teacher that includes accessible local on-site practical workshops.
Due to the structure of the programme, we can only accept graduate students who reside in Ireland during the course.
