This Play-based Learning course explores international best practice in the field of early childhood education, providing teachers with a better understanding of the characteristics of the Síolta and Aistear frameworks and their importance for early childhood education in Ireland. The course examines Stage One of the NCCA Primary Language Curriculum 2016 – The Infant (Stage 1) Curriculum encompassing the principles and methodologies of the 2009 Aistear, the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework (NCCA).
