Clinical Placement Co-ordinators
We are recruiting Clinical Placement Co-ordinators (CPCs) to join our expanding nurse education team in the delivery of our BSc (Hons) Nursing in General Nursing.
The CPC is the key student-facing role across the programme. Primarily a student support role, they ensure a continuous theory-practice link with the College in the delivery of the programme.
The CPC guides and supports students and clinical staff in approved clinical areas over the duration of designated clinical placement blocks, across all stages of the programme. Together with nominated preceptors at the clinical sites, they facilitate and monitor the learning and clinical competence attainment for nursing students.
Additionally, CPCs will work with the Link Academic and Clinical staff in the audit of the identified clinical learning environments and in the establishment of the practice learning opportunities. Thereby, the CPC ensures the clinical learning environment meets the standards and requirements of the programme.
These roles will be regional and/or clinical site-specific and will require travel to team meetings in addition to student visits. Successful candidates will join the Adjunct Faculty CPC panel and operate under a contract for services for each placement cycle.
