About the
MSc in Corporate Governance
Pending validation, we intend to offer MSc in Corporate Governance, Level 9 programme worth 90 ECTS credits.
The MSc in Corporate Governance will be a two-year, part-time programme, delivered in a blended format and designed to meet the education and professional training needs of those in the corporate governance and compliance profession.
The programme is intended to specifically accommodate those who wish to work full-time while also studying for a QQI and CGIUKI recognized award.
This programme is designed primarily to provide a learner with the knowledge and skills to act in a professional capacity as advisor to the board of a company and/or other similar organisations which also leads to professional accreditation.
The proposed programme is a collaboration between Hibernia College and AccountancySchool.ie. pending validation by QQI, and has been professionally Accredited by the Chartered Governance Institute UK and Ireland (CGI). Upon successful completion of the MSc graduates will be awarded GradCG status.

Entry Requirements
The programme will have a minimum entry requirement of a lower second-class honours, 2.2 or equivalent, award in a bachelors’ degree at NFQ Level 8 in any of the following areas legal studies, business organization, accounting, finance, or management.
